Andersen Winery Sur Lie - Danish wine

Sur Lie is a sparkling apple wine made from Danish Belle de Boskoop Apples. After fermentation in steel tanks is complete, the lees are left in the tank so that the now inactive yeast will be stirred for several months, adding complexity and flavor to the wine. Produced using the méthode traditionelle, Sur Lie will be matured and disgorged after a minimum of 6 months in bottle. Sur Lie is suitable as an aperitif, fish, shellfish and cheese.
