Columbia Crest Grand Estate Syrah

The grapes for this wonderful Syrah wine come primarily from the Wahluke slope, which provides optimal conditions for the Syrah grape. To “open up the fruit” in the wine, a little Viognier grapes and 1-2% Merlot and Malbec grapes are added.

The wine is aged for 16 months in 60% French barriques and 40% American barrels.

Very “Northern Rhône” in style with the typical peppery/spicy note in the aroma. Great fruit concentration with layers upon layers of dark berry flavor that fills the mouth.

Harmony characterizes the aftertaste that lasts and lasts . Enjoy it with stews, game dishes and not least in large glasses.
