The Macallan Harmony Collection Amber Meadow Whisky

The Macallan has partnered with Stella and Mary McCartney, who share a curiosity and admiration for nature. Stella and Mary have worked with Macallan to create the third edition of The Harmony Collection – a limited annual series that highlights the brand’s curiosity and innovative thinking.

The third edition in The Harmony Collection celebrates the land of Scotland, which connects all who have walked its paths for generations. This third edition includes two unique expressions: The Macallan Harmony Collection Amber Meadow and Green Meadow, inspired by the McCartney sisters' love of Scotland, which stems from their memories in the Scottish Highlands.

To honour this deep connection to the land, the gift boxes and bottle labels are made from discarded meadow clippings, showcasing the recycling of natural materials to create beauty from end-of-life resources. Each release’s packaging showcases photographs of The Macallan Estate taken by Mary McCartney.

The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team has drawn inspiration from the natural Scottish grasslands to create two unique, limited edition whiskies, using a combination of sherry-seasoned oak and bourbon casks. Whiskymaker Steven Bremner says: 'There is so much to discover with The Macallan Harmony Collection Amber Meadow. It is a single malt reminiscent of warm meadows and ripe barley fields, with a rich, citrusy finish. The 100% natural summer evening colour, derived from our exceptional sherry-seasoned oak and bourbon casks, reflects the richness of the flavours that await. The nose reveals fresh citrus and honeysuckle, complemented by hints of vanilla, coconut and ripe barley fields. On the palate, notes of oak, lemon and melon are prominent, accompanied by flavours of classic scone and green tea almond, before giving way to a rich and sweet long finish.
