Elisabetta Gnudi Angelini owns the estates Caparzo in Montalcino, Borgo Scopeto in Castelnuovo Berardenga (Chianti Classico) and Doga delle Clavule in Maremma in the south-west of Tuscany. Caparzo produces top Brunello on the 90 hectares of vineyards that the estate owns. The calcareous soil produces concentrated wines with a distinguished fruit and finesse.

Borgo Scopeto is located a few kilometers from Siena and produces, among other things, excellent Chianti Classico wines on the total of 70 ha. vineyards (40 ha. Chianti Classico). Doga delle Clavule produces, among other things, Morellino di Scansano - a relatively new and exciting DOCG area.

The properties are run independently of each other, but the three different terroirs provide a unique opportunity to make exciting and different wines. Caparzo's Rosso di Toscana Sangiovese thus consists of grapes from all three properties.
