Domaine Jean Pierre Maldant - Burgundy

The Maldant family are 5th generation winegrowers and the family has been making wine based in Ladoix-Serrigny since 1895. They own 8 hectares right at the foot of the Corton mountain, and it was only as late as 1998 that they began bottling wine under their own name.

But better late than never, because they practice extraordinary craftsmanship in all the vinification processes. This results in great Burgundies in a classic old-school style, with layers upon layers of dense Pinot fruit.
