Collection: Francois Carillon - Puligny-Montrachet - Burgundy

Domaine François Carillon only started making wine on its own in 2010, but the Carillon family are not new to Puligny-Montrachet, as their ancestry can be traced back to 1520, when Jehan Carillon was already a winegrower in Puligny.

In 2010, the two brothers behind Domaine Louis Carillon (founded 1611) François and Jacques - decided to take the trouble of dividing the vineyard and the 12 hectares of vineyards, to ensure their children less trouble in the future! The two brothers have worked closely together for many years according to the same family traditions, and it was therefore with a bleeding heart that they made the division.

Their enthusiasm and seriousness are known far beyond the village borders and this cannot help but rub off on their wines, which are considered to belong to the elite of Puligny and have been for 15 generations. Both are very enthusiastic about wines with great finesse and complexity, and although their cellars are now located on opposite sides of the main road in the village, they do not intend to change their way of vinifying wine. However, François has initiated a transition to organic cultivation in his vineyards, something he has long been a supporter of. He currently has 6.5 ha. distributed in the Chassagne, Puligny and St. Aubin municipalities (mainly 1st Cru and Grand Cru).
