Collection: Louis Bouillot Cremant
The Louis Bouillot winery was founded in 1877 in Nuits-Saint-Georges, and from the very beginning it chose to specialize in sparkling wines. Louis, the eldest son of the family, was strongly inspired by the Champagne region and the greatest advocate of this type of wine. His passion for quality was legendary in Burgundy. He quickly became known for selecting the best "vins de base" for his Crémant wines, but also for experimenting during vinification, trying to improve every significant part of the production process.
Since then, the Louis Bouillot winery has been known as one of the most serious and best Crémant producers in Burgundy. In 1997, the company was acquired by the Boisset winery, which provided the necessary capital and much-needed technical know-how that the then 120-year-old winery needed. The two Bouillot and Boisset families, both known for innovation and quality, were a perfect match!
