Collection: Ognissole
The name “Ognissole” is of Greek origin. It is mentioned in a poem by Leonidas of Taranto (third century BC), which describes this land as full of charm and covered by the sun most of the day.
Ognissole is the essence of Puglia, where the influence of the sun and the sea gives the grapes richness, character and elegance.
The wines come primarily from the Castel Del Monte area in Puglia, an area known for producing aromatic wines.
Ognissole is a project where the owners want to make wines without too much human intervention. The soil, the climate and not least the organic and biodynamic processes produce high-class Apulian wines!
The Primitivo is organically grown while the white Pietraia and Brecciato are biodynamically produced.
Ognissole is owned by Feudi San Gregorio, one of the most respected southern Italian wine houses.
