In 2010 began a true wine adventure in Sussex - 2 hour drive south of London. Sarah and Mark Driver founded Rathfinny out from the idea of ​​creating the best English mousse r end wine.

With only 5 kilometres to the English Channel and situated on the same “limestone belt” as the Champagne district east of Paris, the conditions could n’t be better . The soil and climate are incredibly similar to those in Champagne. It took Sarah and Mark 18 months to find the best possible location for the winery and the 91 hectares of vineyards they own .
