Alain Jaume Vacqueyra's 'Grande Garrique'

Rich, spicy, enormously terroir-true wine from the famous Les Garriques elevation. Herbs, blackberries, charcoal, Chinese spices – it all shows up in this complex wine. 3 years in large barrels.

In the northern part of Châteauneuf du Pape, the Jaume family has been dedicated to the art of winemaking since 1826. Alain Jaume makes authentic quality wines from the entire Rhône Valley, including the mighty Chateauneuf du Pape.

This venerable profession for them is their heritage, but above all, it is their passion. It requires discipline, perseverance and respect for nature and the challenges she presents them with. Each vintage is different from the previous one, and each year the production and techniques are adapted to the ever-changing behavior of the vines, the grapes and the terroir.

The goal is to carefully and lovingly produce wines that are intense, rich and complex, reflecting and embodying the wonderful terroir of the southern Rhône Valley.
