Asili is the name of one of the best Barbaresco vineyards - for over 100 years, Nebbiolo grapes have been grown here, and the results are nothing short of fantastic.

Asili is a deep dark red when you pour it, and the aroma is dominated by tobacco, pepper, cedar and at the same time sweet, ripe cherries and marzipan.

Asili Barbaresco can be enjoyed young, where it is fresh and supple, but over time will develop into a full-bodied and complex power wine.

The taste is uniquely nuanced, masculine, with a broad spectrum of flavors and a balance between fruit, body and finesse, which is rare for a wine with over 13.5% alcohol!

If you serve it within the first 4-5 years after bottling, it should be opened 1-2 hours before serving and possibly aerated in a carafe.
