Dalva Ruby Port

Fresh and young port, created to be enjoyed in its youth, ideally within one to two years of bottling. The wine has a brilliant red color and an intense aroma of red berries. The taste is full and harmonious, rich and round with clear notes of plums and red fruits.

Produced from traditional red grape varieties from the Douro region, including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca.

Dalva has been through a fantastic process over the last many years. Their port wines have only gotten better and better - at the same time they have a fantastic stock of tawnies and white ports from the last century. The house's declared ambition is to belong to the super league in Porto and the last decades have shown that this goal is moving closer and closer, while prices (thanks to an ailing Portuguese economy) are kept to a minimum. Dalva is, in short, an unadulterated best buy house today.
