Dalva White Port

A fresh and young white port wine, created to be enjoyed while new, ideally within one to two years of bottling. The wine has a light yellow color and an intense fruit aroma that is both rich and delicate. Notes of citrus and vanilla are evident, and on the palate the wine is elegant and silky with fine complexity and a fresh finish.

Made from traditional white grape varieties from the Douro region, including Malvasia Fina, Donzelinho, Viosinho and Gouveio.

Dalva has been through a fantastic process over the last many years. Their port wines have only gotten better and better - at the same time they have a fantastic stock of tawnies and white ports from the last century. The house's declared ambition is to belong to the super league in Porto and the last decades have shown that this goal is moving closer and closer, while prices (thanks to an ailing Portuguese economy) are kept to a minimum. Dalva is, in short, an unadulterated best buy house today.
