The Dog Pinot Noir - Palatinate

"Da liegt der Hund Begraben" is a German expression that we also know in Denmark, where we say: There lies the dog buried. The expression refers, among other things, to what actually lies behind a given problem, expectation, statement or perhaps a given wish.

"Da liegt der Hund Begraben" has in many ways fulfilled our desire to find a quality and reasonably priced German organic Pinot Noir that is as close to Burgundy in style as possible.

The aroma reveals typical floral notes, red berries and forest floor, and the taste of the wine is nicely juicy and has a remarkably complex, elegant and harmonious structure that can probably be compared to its actual origins in Burgundy.

With its light and delicate character, the wine is suitable to be enjoyed at approx. 14 degrees Celsius with, for example, pasta dishes, salads, poultry, pork or grilled fish and shellfish.
