Dolcetto means 'the little sweetie' which it definitely isn't!

Dolcetto wines are generally very dry and always have an unmistakable aroma of bitter cherries accompanied by strong tannins . In short, a true Italian !

Dolcetto from Ca' del Baio has a beautiful violet-red color, and the aroma is very immediate and elegant with notes of cherry and raspberry. The taste of the wine has a good sweetness with a straight, crisp and elegant style. It is a very classic Dolcetto d' Alba, where finesse, straightness and fruit stand out more than structure and strength.
