Gold Label is a Limited Edition red wine from Columbia Crest, where the grapes are selected from the best fields in the Horse Heaven Hills. The composition of grapes varies from year to year, but always expresses the best of Columbia Crest's abilities.

The grapes are harvested by hand in small baskets and after fermentation, it is aged for 17 months in barrels, 68% in neutral barrels, the last 32% in new French oak barrels.

The dark, deep red color contributes to the impression of a full-bodied, dense wine. Yet the aroma is welcoming and with plenty of berry and floral notes. The taste is bold and full-bodied with an emphasis on dark berries, chocolate and licorice, leading into a long, perfectly rounded aftertaste.

Cabernet Franc is not the wine we drink the most, but Columbia Crest Gold Label has made us think twice! A delicious surprise, with many delicious layers of flavor.
