Jakob Jung Classic Riesling Rheingau

With shares in some of the area's best fields, as well as an immense amount of care for each individual vine, it is no wonder that Jakob Jung is at the forefront of Rheingau's best producers.

The house's wines, which are now made by the youngest generation, Alexander Johannes Jung, are a meeting point between a millennium of wine history and modern winemaking. The wines are extremely well-made, precise and with a balance between fruit and minerality that is hardly mastered at a similar level anywhere in the world. The wines are stored in a more than 250-year-old and more than 110-meter-long cellar, carved into the rock eight meters underground. Here the temperature is 11 degrees all year round, which is ideal for storing the beautiful Riesling wines.
