Ladoix "Les Chaillots" - Domaine Jean Pierre Maldant - Burgundy

From the small producer Jean Pierre Maldant comes a young, up-and-coming Burgundy with lots of fresh raw power.

Ladoix Les Chaillots is made from Pinot Noir grapes from the upper part of the Maldants fields, not far from Corton Les Grand Loliéres.

The nose offers a good aroma of red fruits with spicy notes. The taste is structured with firm tannins, which indicate that the wine is still young, but has lots of potential, which is especially expressed in the lingering aftertaste.
