Leitz Ein Zwei Zero Riesling - Alcohol free

Leitz Ein Zwei Zero is something as rare as a non-alcoholic wine that actually tastes like wine (and good!). It is made from Riesling, and undergoes a gentle de-alcoholization via vacuum distillation, which preserves as much of the flavor and character of the Riesling as possible. Although non-alcoholic alternatives do not have the depth and weight that we know from “real” wine, Ein Zwei Zero is so fresh, crisp and refreshing, supported by a great acidity, that you don't miss anything in the structure.

Scent: Lime, orange blossom and apple
Tasting notes: Refreshing and fresh with rhubarb, citrus and fine acidity.
Serving suggestion: As an aperitif, with light fish dishes and seafood or spicy Asian food.

Johannes Leitz took over the family winery from his father in 1999 after being in charge of the winemaking since 1985. Under Johannes' ownership, Leitz has only gone one way – upwards! The quality has increased from good to world class and they have managed to expand the fields with some of the best plots around the town of Rüdesheim.

The mountain slope west of and immediately surrounding Rüdesheim is one of the most magical terroirs in the world for producing wines from the Riesling grape – and thus one of the most magical terroirs in the world for producing white wine!
