"Delicate and refined aromas of raspberries and strawberries with a stony complexity that is usually only found in great rosé champagnes. The taste is equally high quality with lots of fresh, sun-ripened raspberries and wild strawberries and a hint of mint on the edge. Fine, small, integrated bubbles and a perfectly rounded acidity. You almost can't taste that it is an alcohol-free wine. We are so close that it tastes like a well-made sparkling rosé. A real breakthrough for the quality of alcohol-free wines. 5 big stars." - Winelab
Leitz Eins Zwei Zero Sparkling Rosé is something as rare as an alcohol-free wine that actually tastes like wine. Leitz Sparkling Rosé is made from Merlot, Portugieser and Pinot Noir and undergoes a gentle de-alcoholization via vacuum distillation, preserving as much flavor and character from the grapes as possible.
Although non-alcoholic alternatives lack the depth and weight that we know from “real” wine, Ein Zwei Zero is both fresh, crisp and refreshing, with a light sweetness balanced by a great acidity – so it doesn’t feel like anything is missing. The wine has approximately 50 grams of residual sugar per liter.
