"Over the top mega-freaking delicious scent of great white Burgundy, even though we are in the Rhone" - Søren Frank, Berlingske July 2019
Husband and wife Rotem and Mounir Saouma began their winemaking career with top Burgundy house Lucien Le Moine. Inopia is made from grapes from their own land holdings in the Rhone, and is a truly magnificent, full-bodied white wine.
Made from Grenache blanc, Bourbulenc, Marsanne and Rousanne. Aged for a full 16 months, the bold, pineapple-like appearance emerges.
One of the secrets behind the delicious wine is the aging; this takes place in large cement tanks - you may not think of cement tanks first when talking about wine production, but the aging in cement 'barrels' gives the wine a special character, which in this way is not affected by the wood in a traditional wine barrel.
The result is a truly superb white wine.
