Lupe Cholet Macon-Lugny "Les Charmes" - White Burgundy

Macon-Lugny “Les Charmes” comes from the Maconnais in the southern part of Burgundy – from fields just north of the city of Macon.

The Macons are known for their warmer expression than the Chardonnays from the north.

The more hours of sunshine are evident to the taste. A little bolder in style, but more straight and slender, as they have not been barrel-aged.

If you are looking for a nice white Burgundy Chardonnay and don't want to pay the "top of anything" then this is a great buy.
