Vintage Reserva 2011
The classic Malteco Guatamala rum style made from sugar cane juice in Panama. Distilled in 2011 and aged in the mountains in 220 l. American bourbon oak barrels until it was bottled in August 2023.
The style is intense, lots of sweetness on the nose and stone fruits. The barrel is not pronounced and allows the complexity of the rum to come through with a good balance to the 42.3%. The finish is long and the barrel comes forward further here with clear tannins and a touch of vanilla.
