Marseghina Amarone DOCG

Beautiful and deep pomegranate red color in the glass and with a corresponding aroma of plums and black cherries with hints of raspberry. Soft and full-bodied on the tongue and with a long and aromatic aftertaste.

Marseghina is the result of the meeting of two families, united by their passion for wine since the beginning of the 20th century. A passion that has been passed down from generation to generation and resulted in the joint project of Luciano Sancassani and Riccardo Degani.

The state-of-the-art winery was inaugurated in 2015.

The Valpantena terroir extends east of Verona and consists of a north-south oriented valley. Geologically, the area is similar to the famous Valpolicella as the valley is also part of the same wine region: Valpantena is actually part of the Valpolicella wine region.

The vineyards extend over 50 hectares, terraced in great respect for the environment and the surrounding landscape. Fifteen hectares embrace the natural “amphitheatre” of Sezano, which also surrounds the winery and the offices. Thanks to an impressive work of terracing, the vineyards have ideal exposure for the vines.
