Misty Cove Landmark Riesling

This Riesling was named Landmark after the special typicity that the Fareham Lane field gives to the wines. Wines with a very special aromatic, elegant and mineral character, which is associated with Marlborough. The grapes are handpicked and pressed immediately after arrival at the cellar. The must is fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks to preserve the freshness of the wine and the aromatic character of the grape, and is stopped after approx. 5 weeks by further cooling, while the wine still has some natural residual sugar.

Landmark Riesling has the natural, exotic and sweet character of the grape variety, and the style of the field also adds a minerality, acidity and crispness, which provides a good counterbalance. Here you will find nuances of citrus fruits, acacia blossom, apricot, melon, crisp apples, honey and a little nougat. Despite the approx. 10 g. residual sugar, you will find good freshness and a good bite in the aftertaste. A delicious wine for an aperitif, fish or shellfish and for fruit tarts or desserts with vanilla or almonds.
