When Ramos Pinto introduced port wine to Brazil, this wine was so popular that for a long time port wine was known as " Adriano ". Which also gives this port wine its name, named after the founder Adriano Ramos Pinto .

Adriano is a blend of port wines with an average age of 7 years. When port wine is aged for this long, the pigment in the dark red color begins to accelerate and the lighter, brick-colored tawny shades emerge.

Tasting notes

The aroma is dense with notes of fresh cherry and blackberry. The long aging in oak barrels gives good aromas of dried fruit and nuts, with clear references to plums and walnuts.
The fresh fruit is present in the taste, beautifully balanced in a perfect balance between youthful freshness and maturity from barrel aging. Slightly peppery notes round off the long, soft aftertaste.

Serving

Adriano can accompany a classic starter of ham and melon, or together with desserts of dried fruit and nuts and as a perfect end to a good dinner. TastingClub recommends a serving temperature of 16 - 18 degrees.
