BESKRIVELSE

Collector Porto Reserva is composed of both young wines (two to four years old), which add lots of power and immediacy, and older wines (seven to nine years old), which provide harmony and fullness. The average age is therefore about five years. It is clearly a Ruby-type port wine with a lovely dark and brilliant color, aromas of blackberries, cherries, figs and plums and a taste where you really feel nuances of pepper and concentrated notes of ripe dark fruits. The wine is unfiltered before bottling to preserve all its lovely nuances and its fruit characters.

Collector will go best with cheese or chocolate desserts, but it will also go well with, for example, smoked ham or with hearty meat dishes such as game, beef or lamb. Slightly chilled (14-16 degrees), it will be well suited for a small glass in the garden on a warm day...
