Sacred Gin is nothing short of a minor sensation in the spirits world. In the Highgate neighborhood of North London, Ian Hart has created a fantastic Gin in his kitchen.
Sacred is the name and if the term Micro Distillery is ever to be justified, it must be here. Ian Hart began the production of gin at home in his kitchen. In contrast to traditional Gin production in large copper kettles, so-called Pot Stills, Sacred Gin is distilled at low temperatures under pressure, to develop as pure a taste as possible.
With Sacred Gin in the glass, you are something close to the perfect Dry Martini, but the taste is so pure and elegant that you will also have a great experience enjoying it neat.
Sacred Gin has become a huge success on the London bar scene in just a few years and here at TastingClub we are proud to present Sacred Gin to our customers. Despite the high demand, Sacred sticks to the authentic and so it is still Ian Hart himself who distils most of the Gin, rather than outsourcing the recipe to producers with larger capacity - a true luxury experience!
Sacred Gin consists of extracts of 12 different herbs and spices, including Juniper, Cardamom, Nutmeg and the frankincense tree Boswellia Sacra, which also gave this gin its name: Sacred.
