Vega Medien Semi Seco is made from 100% Macabeo grapes, sourced from selected plots in Requena. The grapes are hand-picked in small boxes to avoid crushing and oxidation during transport to the cellar.

After a gentle pressing, where the best part of the must is selected, fermentation takes place in steel tanks. The 'base wine' is then matured for a few months on its 'leak' (sediment) in steel tanks and then ferments for 12 months in bottle according to the 'Méthode Traditionelle' technique.

The Semi Seco (semi-dry) Cava has a light golden color with a greenish tinge. The bubbles are small, lively and persistent. The aroma is immediate and exotic with nuances of grapefruit, passion fruit, mango and peach, but also a touch of honey and wildflowers.

The taste is fresh and elegant despite the sweetness (38 g. residual sugar). The aftertaste is long and pleasant and makes you want to take another sip... Serve as an aperitif, but also with Asian dishes with chicken or seafood, for example. Try it with light desserts.
