Luis Valentín and Carmen Enciso are the dogma couple of Rioja. The goal is to create the essence of Rioja from the sun, the clay soil and the high-altitude fields. They have bought small plots of land around the heart of Rioja, and only go for the oldest vines of +60 years. Everything is grown organically and all wines are fermented in cement tanks, after which some of them are aged in small French, lightly toasted oak barrels. These are incredibly complex and unmistakably Rioja-true wines that are shipped from the farm.
